A couple of cards

Can you  believe its nearly mid June already? Seriously, where is the time going? My daughters preschool graduation is just around the corner and she's off to kindergarten in September. I'm positive it was just yesterday I was in labour!  Anyway.... I don't usually make a big deal about preschool stuff but Ava is just tickled pink about graduation ( and so NERVOUS about going to french immersion) so I just had to make her a card to encourage her. Super simple using scraps and the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge. I added a couple stars after I took the picture.

I'm responsible for bringing cupcakes for the dessert table. I figured I might as well make a few cupcake toppers to pretty them up a little. Again, super simple and using my excessive scrap stash along with Everyday Paper Dolls and Locker Talk. I had no interest spending alot of time on them, since they probably won't be appreciated anyway.

And lastly a birthday card for an angry bird lover I saw this on pinterest but I'm not sure who the original creator is but I used the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. It was so fun to make! The kiddies were so excited to see the finished product. I'm gonna try out the others later.

Anyway, I'm off to try and get my stamp club materials prepared for Friday night. I'll get those posted in the next couple of days hopefully. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

June Art Philosophy Blog Hop

Hey everyone. Its the last weekend of the month again, so that means its time for the Art Philosophy Blog Hop. This month we are using the card feature to create father's day cards for

Lets get started shall we. This is the first stop on the way so Welcome!

I cut the base on page 45 at 7". I then cut 2 layers out of the main image at 3-3/4" (one for the outside and the other for the inside). The stars are on page  49, cut at 2" and 1-1/2". The stamp is from Art Philosophy tags. The actual tag is on page 53, cut at 2". All paper is from DCVW - I just love the thickness of it. The inside sentiment is from Pink By Design.

Now you're off to visit my pal Amanda. Thanks for swinging by today. Hope to see you again soon!

It's Stampaganza Time!!

First Monthly Hostess Club

Wow I sure am slack with these blog posts. Tomorrow is the first night of my monthly hostess club. We will creating 3 cards. Here are the cards we will be making. I'm already counting down the days until the next one!

This was using Stella paper and "A Tree " stamp set in Sunset Ink. They have the option to use any sentiment they want to though. I saw a very similar card to this one somewhere and I really don't remember - so I'm very sorry I cannot give you credit, whomever you are!

We used the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge for the cuts on this one. Oh how I love this cart. I wanted to use up some of my paper stash so is isn't using CTMH colours at all. I have made this card before and love it to bits. I actually don't remember if the sentiment is a CTMH Stamp or not but club members can feel free to use another sentiment if they wish. Truthfully I was making cards that I need to send out. =)

And finally this fun fold card. I just HAD to use a little Dotty since it is the last month for the promotion. Click here if you would like to get your hands on it before its gone. We used Under the Sea for the stamp and coloured the image with water colours. What a fun fun fun set. It is one of my favourites and I have had such fun with it so far.

If you know me, you know I love to pass out little favours. Its a nice gesture to say Welcome to the club & thank you! I whipped these boxes (and tags) up also using the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge that I saw here. I stamped using the Art Philosophy tag set and tied it with some Mandarin bakers twine from the twinery

If you're local and would like to get it on some crafty fun, there is always space available in my club. Just leave me a message!

Be sure to stop back on Saturday. I am hosting another Art Philosophy blog hop.

I almost forgot to pick a winner of this past weekends blog hop.  The winner gets to choose TWO stamp sets of their choice. The lucky lady is....................

Oh this is great for any age. I always have difficult coming up with masculine cards so this is great inspiration. You could always change up the colors and add some flowers for a female.

Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop

Hello Everyone! Welcome to the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop. I'm very excited about this as it is the very first hop that I've hosted. We are a group of Close to my Heart consultants that LOVE this very versatile cartridge. To read more about the Art Philosophy Cartridge, read this section of my blog. Lets get started shall we? This is the first stop in the hop so you are in the right place.
I had a completely different project planned out but my order from Close to my Heart hasn't arrived yet :( The good news is that it IS in Canada. Hopefully it'll be here before I leave on vacation next week. Anyway here is mine. I needed a card for my daughters friend's birthday.

Now a blog hop wouldn't be complete without a little giveaway. Up for grabs are TWO Close to my Heart stamp sets of your choice. All you have to do is become a new follower of mine and leave me a comment. I will choose a winner using random.org on Monday.
If you would like to purchase any of our wonderful products or would like to take a peak at the idea book, feel free to take a look at my CTMH Website. There are some fun promotions on right now.
